Information about AR 15 Stripped Lower Receiver

Anybody got a source to find a good inexpensive AR 15 Stripped Lower Receiver? I'm trying to buy a Anderson and not having a lot of luck, seems most places are out of stock. I did find one place (Classic Firearms) that did have a Anderson Stripped Lower for $49. Tax and shipping which brought the total to $82. Almost $30 to ship. Suggestions??

Try Joe Bob's in Hays, Ks? Show a few in stock last nite. Yea, FFL fees get you too.
You indicated that you 'rebuilt' the set you have? If it came with a stock, RIFLE! I usually get them as multical to eliminate problems also.
We don't try to break any laws but it's kinda like a speedo ticket, good till get caught. But in this situation, best not to get in trouble

Try Tactical Machining in Florida. They have tons of stuff, including 80% anodized blanks. If you need a jig, that adds expense but they have lots of serialized lower receivers and if memory serves, their main business actually is producing finished parts for Anderson and many others.

If you really want one at this time, I'd buy it. I don't think we'll see these prices again for awhile, if ever. As you're seeing, availability is poor to worse right now. ARs aren't difficult to assemble, but there is a difference between slamming something basically functional together, and actually building an AR. Sort of a scrambled eggs vs. omelet deal. BTW, lower parts kits seem to be on the short side as well. If your guy has a decent one, buy it too.

I just bounced into GunBroker real quick, the lowest price Anderson bare lower is at $90.00 + shipping, on a "buy it now".

About three months back my dealer has CASES and was selling them like penny candy! 69,89,109,129$ then he has some fancy ones for 199. Cheapest two where Anderson's and they must sold 10 cases!! Some guys had five lowers waiting on "numbers" from the state to finish papers. CRAZY. & thats well before the Covid nonsense.

Unless your brand new to firearms. I just cannot see how any of this caught any of us Who lived thru Clinton and Obummer, flatfooted!!

Local dealer has the Andersons for $50 right now. But limited to 1/month. He knows people would try to resell them at double that but is being fare to let other have a chance to get one they really want to build. He also is a manufacturer of guns and ammo. He uses a lot of AP as they will put his name on them at the AP factory.

I have used a couple Andersons and never had a problem. I have used a lot of RRA over the years. They are local to me.

About the only thing our local guy has is Anderson lowers ($49 after tax and fees), AR stuff, and M&P 9mm's.
That and Primers out the wazzoo. But he only deals local.
WELL, GOOD TO SEE YOU GOT ONE.

I had an Anderson and an Aero Precision . The Wilson/Mossy maybe Second Blem uppers fit about equally on either , neither gave any difficulties in assembly or end use . The Aero flat black was only about half as flat , read smoother , less phosphate more satin finish . GI parts I guess.

There was a guy on ar15.com that worked at Spikes. He had blem upper rec's for 20$. I bought 4 of them. The blem was the logo on top rear of it. They very carefully sanded it off so they could not be identified. He had cases of them. They are very good and have the teflon coating on the inside. They are super smooth. Wish I would have got a few more now.
