jon if your 45 Lyman checks don't work, try the BSS 458 rifle gas checks. they are thicker and stay on better. you can get them from NOE. the bullet shank should be .426.

Thanks for the response...I recognize your name, and I am glad to get your experienced information.

This mold (hopefully) has a tapered GC shank .424 to .427 if I am reading this drawing correctly.
The vintage Lyman GCs I have measure .425 ID (measured with a dial caliper...yeah I know it ain't the exact proper tool)
I've had a dozen or so NOE molds, and his molds usually drop a bullet that is about .001 larger than advertised (with my casting techniques and my usual alloy of COWW.) If this mold does that, the GC should be a perfect fit. If the Bullet drops "as advertised" the GC may fit loosely...but I have a couple remedies that can help that.
