Just a thought about this forum and the people that use it. This group is a refuge from the less erudite, more abrasive, and down right nasty people that often populate other forums. Here is a perfect example.
A member posted about a size and style of bullet mould he needed. I sent him one. He immediately wanted to compensate me for the shipping etc. and I insisted there was no need.
The mould was returned to me already, just a couple of weeks later, with a note, a reimbursement for my postage, and 10 pounds of nicely cast bullets!
I will not name the individual, but he is a regular contributor and I am glad I was able to help him and I received much more in return. The good feeling I got from this transaction is priceless.

only place I belong to exept an old sportsman club in Lake city that only chargers 20 bucks a year, & I shoot with the oltimers on Wednesday's at 9 am in the summer

On the other site, I recall one who is a current member here describing the atmosphere like a gun show. I remember the 45-90 minutes before the doors opened to the public at the Mat Valley Lions Club Gun Show in Palmer 35 years ago, when the dealers and traders all talked as they set up their tables. The banter, the exchange of information - even the disagreements and differences of opinion -- are all handled at the same tone and posture I encounter here.
