i was looking for an alternative Mould for my Schmidt Rubin 96/11

currently i use the Lee .312 - 185 Mould

sizing .309 /.310 with similar good success.
The rifles barrel slug to .307 /308

i was afraid that the Lee .309 Mould drops not large enought but i like to use a Bullet with a longer bore riding nose

The actually in use .312 -185 Bullet i have to set down nearly close to the crimpgrove.
Check for borefit with a dummy round shows hints of the Rifling on the Bullet ,

any experiences on hand

thx Klaus

Will an old Ideal 308278 single cavity (dropping 215g with WW alloy) help with what you're looking for?

the rcbs 165gr silhouette bullet is a good one.
I think NOE has one similar with a flat nose and a slightly modified front drive band tapered for the swiss throats.
I was going to get in on the original group buy years back but i was having such good luck with the silh. bullet I left things alone.

I think Your lee .309-200 will have too much bore ride for your liking. Try a Lyman due to the undersized body and diameter and I’m sure you’ll be much pleased.
