Lee Safety Prime broke

Well I finally broke my small primer feeder. The little coil spring was gone somehow. So I took it out of the large primer feeder pusher thing. Well it still does not work. Both springs are there. The pusher does not come back to let another primer in. And Lee does not have parts for this anymore.

So I ordered the new version a little bit ago. But I would like to try to fix the black small primer version I have. Anyone else have a fix?

Have old, intermediate, and recent versions with bricks and bricks of primers through them with nary a problem, never even taken one apart.

Neither have I. It has about 40K rounds primed with it

I use to have these in both large and small primer size. One of them broke twords the top where the shell holder fits in the tool. I saved the two different size primer plungers and springs the seating lever (thumb seater) and the cam. If any of these parts would help I'll foward them to you.

I got it. I swapped out the side spring from the LP one and it is working now. Looks like I will have the new version here Friday. I will put it to the side for when this one finally dies.
