Back in 2001-2002 I ordered a brand new blue Ruger Bisley to have it converted to 500 Linebaugh, by none other than Linebaugh himself. Never shot that Bisley - not even once - don't quite even remember what was the original caliber - I "think" it was 357 Magnum. I saved my money, and I sent my revolver and order form to John for his "work". I ordered a nice custom front sight (like Elmer recommended), and fitted grips (done at the time by John's son). I think it was close to a year later, I heard from John. There was going to be a shooting event with Linebaugh and other "famous" folks here in Texas, so we agreed to meet in person an "collect" my revolver from him.
Among those present was Jim Taylor:
Of course John himself:

I have only shot the 5x rounds of full power ammo, that day that I pick her up. Since then, it has only been the "practice loads" from Buffalo Bore:
and even after I got the reloading dies, I only had loads in that power range. It is plenty for "practice", let me tell you!
