Long Range Revolver work

I've been playing around with the MP 360-640 cast from straight WW's water drooped and loaded over Unique with Tula Primers. I've still got a lot to learn but have been having fun. Here's a video I made while shooting.
Here's one more.
I hope you enjoy them. Dennis Eugene

There is something so satisfying about the sound of lead impacting a steel plate

Dennis, originally the first molds were made by BRP of that design. Several years ago we were having a get together and I had a stainless Marlin 1894C in 357 Mag that I shot there. We shot that bullet at 300 yards with the iron sights on the rifle. A couple of us shot some large palm sized groups from a magazine full with that bullet in HP form. I had to trim the brass a little to use in that rifle. The particulars were: 50/50 WW/ Pb alloy water dropped, sized 0.359" and loaded with 14.4 gr. of 2400 with a standard primer. It has done rather well in a couple of Ruger Blackhawks.

That bullet is THE bullet in my Marlin 357. I modified the carrier a bit to let if feed better from the magazine, it wanted to jam against the front of the action otherwise.

I have not had good results with Tula small primers in stock revolvers. Usually, get 2 out of 100 that wont go off, no matter how many strikes or different firearms. On the other hand, when primers of the same batch, are loaded in semi-auto (9mm) pistol I can't recall any failures to fire.

I just cast 300 for my 44 mag. I'm using the MP 44/444 305HP. Once I got the timing and rhythm right they just kept coming out good.

Fine shooting sir! This is something that's been on my mind for some time. Hope to get ringing results too.
