Look what the mailman brought me today.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Nice! Funny how what was considered "radical styling" back in the day is "retro" now. Times does pass us by.

Gotta say, I would have thought a place that does reboring would have a tool to hold the stamps so the numbers and letters were evenly spaced.

Oh, man!

I'd trade two, three, maybe more of something for THAT!

EDIT: I could actually rationalize THAT as my "one gun" if I ran across one like that. I've been saving one last VZ24 for the 358 for a "maybe someday" project, but I'd even give up a Mauser for something like that! I had to edit to add that after looking at it again.

Yes, I get it all the time about my model trains too. When I run a particular loco or car and get, “do you know how much that is worth?”

These locos come with motors in them and I run them because of the shear pleasure I get from them not to mention grandkids!

My guns are same way, I shoot what I own because I love to use them as intended. It’s fun to work with a gun and the loads to get those small groups.

To each his own I guess.

shooter vs collector! hah! I don't care what it is, if its in my safe, it goes to the range or it goes away. I intend to hunt deer with my new gorgeous Cimarron 1896 38-55. Most would say its too pretty to take to the woods, but its going!
