Like the first Ideal Moulds that were made over 100 years ago for the 44 and 45 caliber rifles and six guns that were used to tame the West and ensure that law and order prevailed, the Silver Star bullets have been designed to fill the needs of modern cowboy action shooters. All feature a nose that aligns perfectly in the cylinder throat to ensure greatest possible accuracy and a crimp groove that maintains proper overall length in both rifle and pistol use.

Actually, these are very good designs. They will feed through the 1892 lever actions.

i use all but the 427 mold.
i have one from Magma that's a close copy only with a smaller lube groove and more like 430.
the rest are usually holding a 5 or 7 gallon bucket down to the garage floor.

they all do feed and shoot well in a 92,,, but they can be too long for a 73 or a Browning copy of the 92.

I have the 2660667 mold. Have hundreds, if not thousands, in the shop. The largest it will drop is .431 diameter. My Marlin, Bulldog and RH prefer .433 diameter. So they sit. Eventually, after finishing up with the last of the RCBS SWC's, I'll use them up in the 24-3 which has smaller throats than the other revolvers.

Because I own complementary carbines with most of my handguns, I've been switching over to RNFP designs from custom makers, Ensuring the castings drop sufficiently large enough. Most are four cavities with half the cavities dropping PB and GC bullets.

431? lucky bastard.
i bought a jug of lapping compound the day i ordered my 667 mold.
good thing too i needed to open it up to make 430+[barely] but that's all i size my 44's to anyway so that's all i need.
