Making a new part for a Saeco luber

You'll need 110V to your mill for feed, DRO and a work light.

Sounds like Rick is giving good advice. Get the range scrap out of sight - out of mind. Especially as your machinist tooling is bound to grow.

A lot of tension was relieved around our house when I put up a nice big yard barn for the lawn equipment. Ran 110 to it, put in lights, put down industrial strength vinyl flooring, extra shelving, good quality paint - its pretty nice. Got my wife to get used to parking on the street beside the house instead of using the garage (machine shop!), I leave the best space for her. But she did hate fighting to get to her gardening stuff and I didn't want lawnmowers and stuff in the machine shop.

Range scrap heeds as nice shed in the back yard. Our Home Depot has them
premade in the parking lot, they will put them on your foundation. Great way
to keep peace in the house.

My yard is not at all shed friendly. We are basically on a large hill and back yard is all wooded. Getting a shed would require a major effort and moving anything to or from it would make it more work than worthwhile. End of my driveway is a 10’ retaining wall.

Yesterday I received the adaptor for the SAECO lubrisizer, thanks Keith. :) Didn't put it on the luber as yet, had oral surgery yesterday and decided today is a great day to just wimp out.

Very sensible Rick. I have had several oral surgeries, it seems like it takes about 3 days for a lot of the swelling, pain and tenderness to abate to a tolerable level. Until then its a grit-it-out experience.

Any time you get your mouth worked on with a cold chisel and a power drill, you are
issued an automatic wimp out ticket, valid for at least a week, if you want to use it.

:embarrassed:

Hope you feel better soonest.

Just to wrap up this thread, I changed the text and photos in the Saeco adapter post in Keith's Korner to show the new product. I no longer sell the old screw-in type.
