Mold question...

I have a question for those who know bullet and mold lineage better then I do. (Most of yall)

I borrowed this mold two weeks ago. Its a NOE 360-200 FN. looks almost identical to my RCBS 35-200-FN. I know LEE also has a version as does Lyman.

Who made this bullet FIRST??

That is BTW a fine bullet. I shot many a good score in long range revolver with it with a 9 inch FA.

On the left is the RCBS bullet and the NOE on the right. I have two of the RCBS molds and the NOE in a 5 cavity aluminum.

Another heavy weight 35 caliber from RCBS. The 35 250 gr. I believe also designed for the 35 Rem.

This is a 250 gr bullet next to 357 mag brass. Nope, never shot this from the revolver.

I agree with you guys, when RCBS bought the Lachmiller/Ohaus bullet mould line, there wasn't a good 35 Remington hunting bullet around. The Lyman's were all RN for the Remington Model 8's or 35 Winchester, excepting the 295 grain heavy weight. The 200 grain RCBS is a fine design. The 250 was designed for the 35 Whelen, but hasn't been made in years. By the time I got my Whelen, the only 250 was the SAECO, a fine bullet in its own right.

I have the Saeco 351 and 100% its a good shooter! My only complaint is the small gc base. I heavy coat in pc and still might start adding a drop of super glue..

Does anyone have this NOE 360-214??

A few bullets, right from the oven!
From the right, the Lee c358-200. In the middle the MP360-200. Both these are clones of the RCBS original. To the right, the MP359-220, HP.
