Irons have an appeal. I prefer them in many cases but there are some times when as scope is just right for the job at hand.

I am clinging to all my SKinner Peep sights as long as I can. Scope just looks wrong on an old lever for me!

CZ 527 Lux,223....factory irons.Coke cans are in serious trouble @100 yds.

When we get together for fun shoots,it's the one rifle everyone sort of wants to shoot.The satisfaction factor is pretty high.Just a fun gun to shoot.

They are easy to sneak up on. Eye sight is decent but they lack intelligence, they are kinda soupid......

On a serious note, my Merritt Iris just came in. I have been using stick on glasses 'peep dots.' No longer made, so I bit the bullet for the Merritt. Hope to try it out soon
