Need some help with RCBS

Over the past three months I have sent three requests to RCBS for some replacement parts via their online form with no reply from RCBS or any acknowledgement of receipt other than the usual we will get back to you window when the message is sent.

This is not at all like RCBS of the past from whom I have had excellent service.

I could ring them but that will be costly from the UK and then there are the time zones which I cannot make head nor tail of.

Just wondering if any one in the US has a email address for RCBS or has any other ideas as to how I might contact them as there online form is obviously not working or they are just wilfully ignoring my requests, not at all like the RCBS I used to know.

Well the panic is over, I have just walked in the door and there was a padded envelope with most of the parts requested from RCBS FoC..

They have come good eventually, just hope I don't get another two parcels now.

Not like RCBS as their communication used to be first rate as was their service, I have been checking my junk filter in case any reply from them was going in there. Over three months since I first pinged them, the package was sent on the 2 nd of this month and hasn't been held by customs.

Still all is well eventually and I can get my ammomaster back into action, now I have a replacement part I will no doubt locate the original.

Maybe a day for a lottery ticket.

Sir,
Your recent RCBS experience mirrors two instances of mine. Sent e-mails asking the price of parts, no answer, then a week or so later a package arrived with the asked-about parts.

I called a few years ago to buy a replacement base for my worn-out Ammomaster. They sent a new ram and base for free, wouldn't take my money even for freight. Even at the price of an international call, it may be worth it so you know what to expect at the end of the conversation. I'm really impressed that they sent the parts for free....and payed international freight.

Hmm. I have never manage to actually break or wear out anything from RCBS.......
I must not be trying hard enough. ;)

Bill,
Though not an actual breakage, I once stuck a .303 British case in an RCBS sizing die, and in the process of removing the case I damaged the sizing spud. Called RCBS to buy a new one, and try as I might my money was no good. Included in the free package was a new sizing spud, a new threaded rod, and a package of five depriming pins.

I have heard lots of great RCBS stories, never doubted, never tested it.

I have needed a few Dillon pieces, my money was never any good there. I really do like my Dillon
presses.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I have only tried to contact RCBS once on some warranty work and that was probably shortly after 9/11. Never heard a word from them and never got any correspondence, much less a replacement part. I eventually found a used part locally and forgot about it till now. Gotta be a lot of people trying scam them I'd imagine.
