I was at the PO yesterday getting some SFRB. If you are planning on sending anything that will need said box. I would suggest going and getting whatever you can of the old style boxes.
The new boxes are smaller (naturally) cheaper made and much harder to fold and put together. A couple of the folded edges came apart as i was folding the box

Thank you for letting us know!

I’ve been ordering off of the US post office website. They will deliver boxes in bulk for free.

The padded flat rate bags are a good deal. Same price as a SFRB but you can get quite a bit more brass into one.

I went to 2 other PO and both of them had the old style boxes. Maybe (hopefully) these cheaper ones are a trial model

I seen this post this morning, so when I shipped a 4 hole turret this afternoon, I grabbed a fist full of the SFRB's, they are the old style.

BTW, the padded flat rate bags are 25 or 30 cents more that a SFRB...I use a lot of the padded flat rate bags ;)

I buy my shipping labels through through the PayPal/multi shipping option. From them it’s discounted a little bit, less than a dollar per package. Them saved pennies add up!;)

I hear that. I don't have a printer, haven't had one at home since the earlier 1990s, can you say dot-matrix, LOL. But, whenever I have a spate of things to ship, I contemplate a printer ...then I remember the cost of ink cartridge replacements when I used a printer (at work)...Not enough pennies saved to cover that, LOL. When I do "need" somethings printed, which is rare, I go to the Library...20¢ per page, 50¢ for color.... currently my only option, since I am retired and have no access to jobsites anymore.

Checked my stock pile of SFRB's today got 3-10 packs still wrapped in plastic and 2- open 10 packs with only 4 missing!
I'm sure all the other FRBoxes will change too!
Now I also see they are wanting for you to print your own stamps when you buy them! Haven't figured this one out just got it in the mail yesterday!

So now you purchase stamps and the send you something you have to print ( ok most folks have ink jet printers! so What happens if the stamps get wet?) guess we will be forced to buy Color Laser printers????
They do not want to have to do the work anymore! That is why they like for you to use the USPS.COM
I do not mind that because sometimes you get a better deal but man, I Think they are Phasing out their employees
