New to me S&W 38 DA 4th Model 38 S&W

Nickle. 4" (i think) bbl. Original serialed grips. ~85% condition. Guestimate made in ~1902-1905. Lock up is good. Will shoot in the next couple days. I have everything except the proper mold. Recommendations? TIA

Hollow base 36 caliber. Need molds for this that cast bullets 36 caliber that will swell to the lands and grooves of the barrel. Sort of like the mini balls used in the civil war. Best of luck

I have some original Ideal moulds for these. Let me know if you are looking for something in particular. Most shoot very well with soft alloy and less than 600 f/s.

Sorry about that Oscar .......
Mom has a cute little 38 S&W in an H&R .
I didn't even think about one not making the connection with hollow base 36 cal often BP type bullets . ........those being even bigger for 36 cal C&B ........ I'll stop now .

For those not aware 38 Short , 38 S&W , 38 Colt New Police , 38/200 , and 380 (something British) are all the same cartridge.
.361 is a common groove dia with chambers often needing. 364 to fill throats . With that the suggestion of the hollow base nominal bullets or 9mm Mak , also a full figured groove relative to the 35/38/9mm family.
