I have serious doubts that the deer will like this bullet this fall.
This bullet will offer expansion BUT still give you a nice exit hole.
Two things that I feel are very important in a hunting bullet.

That bullet looks like a serious threat! Lots of mass, sectional density, expansion and a little fragmentation. I have the NOE round nose bullet, it shoots well for me in 30-06.

By all means, yes I would like to see it!

A 358 Win. is on my bucket list but there are not many offerings available.
JES can make ya one easy peasy!!!

Ruger Americans whwre contracted thru Grice. But I'm pretty sure they are gone. Maybe a used ine on GB.

I told you that I had a Ruger # 1 in 358 Win.
You said that you'd like to see photos.....Here they are.

I did all the stock work.
Shaping, fitting, glass bedding sanding and final finishing.
I worked on this one every night for 9 months.
I also fitted and installed a Moyers trigger set at 1.5 lbs., clean and crisp.

A lot of sweat in this one.
Ruger never made a Ruger # 1 with a cheek piece.
I've never seen another one , other than mine that I made.
It shoots just as well as it looks !

Grice is a distributor, much like Lipsey's.
if you pony up for a minimum order of guns you can get Ruger to make most anything in any caliber.

I don't know what you mean, CW. Who is Grice and what is a Ruger American?
EXACTLY as guys have said above.
Grice is a distributor in Pennsylvania. Like Lipseys and a couple Others they contract with Ruger for something that not a "regular" catalogued item. As long as you order enough, Ruger will make what ya want.

Ruger americans are budget line of rifles. But they are usually accurate way above there py grade! Re stocked they become fine rifles.

Ben,
I’ve seen these pics on an earlier post but I believe it’s prettier this time around. Love that cheek piece, I imagine that took the bulk of your time. And the caliber selection makes it winner all the way around. Beautiful!

Malcolm ,

My head hurts when I begin thinking about the time and sweat that went into that cheek piece.

Many thanks,
Ben
