Anyone use this mold? I got a 3 cav mold off the other site.Supposed to be new. The mold looked new but the sprue plate looked used. For some reason the plate while steel looked like a Lee 6 hole aluminum plate that was well used. That gold color it takes on.

I had to take it off and sanded the plate on both sides. I had some 2K grit wet/dry paper. The bottom of the plate had a couple burrs I wanted to remove. It had already scratched up the top of the mold so I wanted to stop it from getting worse.

those scratches make good vent lines I hear.

I got nuthin on the mold.
I only own 2 NOE's one is an 8mm mold that barely makes 310 on two of the cavities, and one band makes 323 on the 2 others.[shrug]
they make great cores for 35 cal bullets though.

One good thing, the gas check shank is on the small side. So I will be able to coat then put the check on afterwards. I really don't like sizing 2X. I cast up about 300 last night. Just have to coat them now.

There is not much info anywhere on this mold.
