I check NOE about every 2-3 days. Pulled it up this a.m. and noticed that Al has been busy and has produced a number of the 188 Hunter. Quicksylver gifted me a bunch of them, and they shoot like a bandit in my 308 Sav.
Soooo--bottom line I ordered a 3 cav mold about 10 min ago. Am going to have to haul out the little cast iron pot to melt some pure lead to make a batch of Bruce B's soft nose bullets for hunting season. Will probably do about 50 of them, shoot ten for accuracy test, and save the rest for the next few deer seasons.
Will probably do about 18 or so BH on the body, and use Josh's gas checks. And then I will probably do 250-300 of them for paper.
Brad cast me a batch of the MP HP Hunter's in HP. Super looking bullet. No need to do a Bruce B on those.
Hope to size and lube them in the next day of so.
