NRA renewal time

So it's that time again and I have a question. Which magazine to get. I have always gotten American Rifleman. Now I see they have a number of magazines. Which one do you like best.

Funny
I chose the Digital versions just to save the NRA money! Guess what: I think I only downloaded 2 issues in the past 6 years! Publications I'm not interested I guess:embarrassed:

I thought they only had the two as well but it looks like they now have seven magazines. I hate such major decisions!

Probably would have chose that ! They would have a heck of a lot more money in their coffers If they would cut down on all their mailings and publications!
The really don't need to reward us for keeping our country secure!

Then I just grabbed the latest American Hunter to order a membership for a young protege and I cannot find an application form in the magazine. I want to give memberships to boost our numbers.

I quit sending money when Lapierre gets $100,000 a year for clothing. When LTC North tells me they quit wasting money, I will rejoin after 55 years.

like 358 said - no mag. irrc, $10 membership w/o mag and I am very ok with that, espec after the HL emag fiasco!

I don't give an obese rodents southern hemisphere about LaPierre or any big wigs in any organization. Here is my rationale, take it or leave it, numbers! Numbers of members that can be counted and seen by our opposition and by the miserable, venal, politicians themselves. If we have 4 million members and each member bought one new membership, our numbers double over night. Extrapolate from there. Rather that donate cash, I am going to buy memberships. I particularly want one billionaire to know his money can't sway my opinion.

I get the Hunter delivered and mostly it sets on the end table next to the couch until the next one comes. There is rarely an article worth reading.

I always choose the American Rifleman. After I thumb-through it and read whatever I like, then I drop it off at different destinations, like the Doctor's office or where ever there is a waiting room with magazines.

L Ross, I quite the NRA for many years due their stance on the machine gun and other gun bans. I did join backup for the same reason that you stated.

I can’t stand Wayne but I want to be counted.

I have been donating periodically to NRA-ILA. I like L Ross's way better. I have two grandsons that I plan to sign up when I get off here. I'm going to encourage my two sons to sign up too.

Only a member due to our gun club requiring it.

They don't have our back. It's pretty clear.

Were I to donate or gift a membership it would be to the Gun Owners of America. They hold a similar position to my thinking & are the only ones trying on those issues far as I can tell.

Only one punishment for treason & a good number of folks qualify for the prize today.

Our local gun clubs all offer NRA memberships, often at a slight discount. You don't have to be a member of the club to use the service, and the clubs generally get some sort of perk for offering the service. I don't belong to any local clubs at the moment, but I run my renewals through a couple of them as needed.

I admit to being apprehensive about the current situation in Fairfax, but I've decided I'm not willing to let NRA go down without a fight. I will lobby for change as a separate issue.
