Found one today that looks to be in very good condition. I've wanted one of these for quite sometime. Pulled the trigger and should have it waiting at my LGS by the time I get back from my Oilfield job. Looks like I will need to cast more of those NOE 35-200's.

I think the 35Rem an often overlooked, underrated cartridge. Factory ammo is loaded to low pressures for some weak actions produced way back in the early 20th century. Take a look at Ranch Dog's data and see if that doesn't make the 35 look a bit more stout.

I know what it will do in a 14" contender and it's turned in some impressive numbers in my CVA Scout. I'm like a kid at Christmas!

Since I started shooting my 1960's Marlin 336 35 Rem with cast I'm blown away by its's consistent accuracy. Jacketed was ok but with cast ...it is super accurate

Won't be getting in from work till Wednesday. The wait is killing me! The 35 Remington is a rare bird in my neck of the woods. Ever since I ordered my contender and saw first hand what the 35 could do I always wanted the 336. It will see cast exclusively.
