ITS , I really like the Prairie Hunter line that Boyd's has . I have an old Fajin and an FN 98 in similar stocks . I'll see about a pic this evening .

I use a bipod on several. Quite fond of the Harris 12-25" for hunting with a heavy autoloader. Preload the legs, bangbangbangbang! Can use these seated or kneeling making them very convenient & fast to throw down.

Don't really care for them on lightweight rifles.

Use bags or a rest off the bench.

Kind of ugly but very comfortable to shoot . Wide out front nearly straight to the floor plate .
Belgian FN 98 action , 264 WM , hooded ramp 1/16th inch bead , Williams windage /elevation V rear , Weaver V9 (3-9×40 w/parallax adjustment) , Leupold mount and screw windage twist lock rings , DT'd and fitted with a flip up peep . I think the stock is a Fajin . It appears to be an early Inter Arms DC import . It really likes 15 gr of Unique under a paper patched 260-120 FP NOE .

I tried a Bipod for several sessions from the bench 25+ yrs ago. Never worked for me, 3 shot groups into 2+" from a rifle that would put 5 shots into 1" from a sandbagged tripod.
Used the same Hoppe's front rest for 45yrs. The front and rear bags have worn out several times but that Old Orange Hoppe's just keeps on going.

I run a cheap (under $50) bipod on several rifles shooting jacketed bullets and make consistent hits out to 1800 yards. This is used along with sand bags for the rear of the rifle. Nothing to special about it....
And you've got the videos to prove it!

I frequently hunt with a home made set of cross sticks, but I use them to support my hand that holds the rifle. I always worry about the sticks changing the rifles point of impact. My only experience with a bipod was on an M-60 but that was many years ago and a whole different application.

I use a Bipod on my 22lr using CCI Velocitors & CZ clone for chucks on my property They hit where I aim but it took me awhile to master; Shots are any where from 45 yds to 100 yds

Guess I am the odd ball. For sighting in and checking groups, I use use sand bags. The way my uncle taught me. Real hold the floodwaters back sandbags.. I have 3. Two smaller, 1 larger. Position them according to how I am shooting.
Prone, bench, whatever. Often times I just use two. One in front and one in back. Scootch them around till the rifle is looking where I want then cinch the rear one up tight, with the shoulder, arm, my cheek and stock.
Now if I am hunting Yotes, I do it sitting down on the ground gillied out. I use a homemade shooting stick. just a branch that fell from the tree in my yard , with a y in it. Deer, I brace on a tree or just take it on one knee if I can.
I have a bi pod my kid uses it to 22 plink with, and I think I had it on My AR 15 to take some picks once.

I had a set up long ago for an antelope hunt , if it could somehow no matter how improbably possible externally interfere it did , no factory goodies just 2 18" sections of aluminum tubing on a flat bottom V bracket held by the forward sling stud . I shot that summer a lot in every situation I could dream up to be ready when the shot came ....... Great hunt interesting events , no groceries .
That was the only time I used an artificial rest outside of bags which aside from initial work ups and load proofs I didn't/don't use .

Mostly I shoot offhand ...but will shoot on the bench to 'checkout' the rifle (soft suede leather sand bags).

Honestly, I have hunted very little, but when I have hunted, all my shots have been offhand. Typically, at the range, I shoot offhand (practicing for rifle league or shooting in rifle league). There are a couple bench events in Rifle league, but most of the events are off hand. I should clarify, I haven't actually shot in Rifle league for several years...but I still practice like I will again shoot in a league someday, LOL. I do have possession of our sportsman club's Iron Rams, turkeys, ect.

Decades ago, when I go my first SKS and crate of ammo, I was at a friend's farm doing some recreational shooting, I tried Prone and used the SKS's bayo as a monopod...everyone laughed at me.
