Santa was good to me

Got the savage 16 bear hunter in 338 federal. I know it was against the suggestions of many on here but I just liked it.

I sold a couple rifles to fund part of the savage and bought the 300 blackout off of my very generous Father.
He also hooked me up with the inline fabrications mount for the redding.
Now if it would just get above 20deg I could get out and do some shooting.

Dude, be honest. You shot down Santa's sleigh & snatched up all those goodies, didn't :pyou?

Very, very nice either way.

It was actually just good timing and a lot of good sales.

I’m very excited about shooting the 300 blackout. I have a Ruger bolt gun in 300blk but I think the AR will be much more fun.

Be warned about the Blackout AR-15, they have an insatiable appetite for ammunition. It took me one range session to figure out I was going to have to find a way to make a powder-through-expander die for my Pro-1000 so I could keep up with demand.

All you need now is a silencer and a good Caldwell hard-mount brass catcher....:D

I have the brass catcher but haven’t gotten up the nerve to spend $1000 on a suppressor.

I like the silencerco omega. If I buy one I want something that will work on 300blk, 5.55, and a 6.5.

I’ve been bit hard by the AR bug and I would say a 6.5 grendal or 6.5 Creedmoor at-10 will be my next build, that is after I finish up a SPR build.

Or you could do a form 5320.1 and make it yourself for $100-500, depending on how fancy and lightweight you want it to be. We got the goods on superb, multi-caliber, multi-pressure, zero-POI-shift suppressor design, so there's no compromise doing it yourself.

Not sure making a suppressor is within my tool availability and skill level.

It might be if you have a drill press, Dremel tool, vice, files, sandpaper, and know where to do your shopping.
