Saved a lot of money (Juda gun show)

Lots of interesting toys, a complete 222 Rem 310 tool and a 4 (maybe five?) die set plus handles in probably original Lyman inner box and orange outer box, $40. No, I didn't buy it.

Picked up an older RCBS Uniflow micrometer screw in the box, two of the spacer rings, and the allen wench, $18.

Found a Winchester 24, 16ga... Boy, these were surely the utilitarian grade. The double triggers looked as if stamped from sheet metal. Wood looked more like off of a cheap single shot shotgun. It was tight, metal in good shape, the ejectors looked small, closer to rifle sized ejectors, IMHO. $650 and I put it back without another look.

No LR primers, darn. WLRM, but I don't need Magnum primers for anything. Two 50 rnd boxes with Tri-State? .41 Mag, Herters cases, looks only fired once, brass still shiny down near the flash hole. $3 per box. Nope.

I would have taken the .41 mag brass. :(

Hey Guys,
Maybe we should have a "Wish List" section There we can have a list of things that we are having trouble finding but maybe another member has a chance to find them at a show or a yard sale , whatever. Obviously it has to be within reason and there has to be some sort of truth issue that holds the request binding.
Just an Idea

Well I guess WTB is best.... but not the same Idea...& I May not really be viable in an open Forum: was thinking more like if someone goes to a good show ,etc & they see a good deal on something someone had posted...they might pick it up for them. But that maybe something to esoteric in this day and age.
We sort of do this at our shooting range ( between friends) If someone is looking for something and someone happens to find it we usually pick it up for the guy wanting it ( & of course get reimbursed)

I like this idea, not sure how to implement it. Be sort of like talking to your buddy: "hey, if you see a such and such at the gunshow at X price in Y shape would you pick it up and I'll pay you back next week".

That what you are thinking JW?

So putting this out to others: is there a way to do this? Is there a way to select for a group of trustworthy people who could make this concept work?

You need something like a credit or trustworthy rating to make this possible. How? Or not?
