Very nice rifle...I am sure that you will enjoy it.

I just cannot abide that method of feeding...been feeding through the side, too long.

Good morning
Sounds like another happy get together with the Henry.
Bought one of the 41 mags last June and enjoyed shooting it a bunch while up north there last summer. Look forward to summer 2018 to get back to flipping the lever on it. Maybe by then some 357 Henry models will be showing up for resale.

I stopped by the local shop yesterday and he had at least 3 steel framed Henrys in the rack. The 45 Colt and 44 Mag were as pictured here, and the 357 had a shorter mag tube and big loop lever. I prefer the look of the regular lever and full length mag tube, and would have no qualms about the loading by way of the mag tube. These all looked pretty nice, and better than the Remlins that I've seen. $699 seems a little steep, but my first Marlin 357 was $169 at Kmart back in '82. The most that I've paid was $425 for one that I had to order in '09.
