That is some awesome work. You are a fine artisan.

Wow! That is really impressive work. Having done nothing more complex that assembling a Lyman
Hawken .50 cal percussion kit, this just blows my mind.

I assume you sell these when you are done? And for a great deal of money, absolutely no doubt.

Thanks for sharing.

PS I had to down load the files and then open them locally, but that worked great.

Thanks Guys for the kind words. I never built one with the idea to sell it! The rifles in the photos were all built for folks that sought me out and asked If I would build them something special. I'm sure they were all worth more then I charged;) An average custom build used to take me anywhere from 9 months to
slightly over a year. A customer becomes a friend in that amount of time and friends always get the best deals !
I really don't build anymore, but I do a fair amount of conservation / restoration work on original 18th & 19th century pieces
My shop is full with my own builds (for myself) in various stages of completion…Which I know I will never probably get to finish.
I have been enjoying learning the "Art and Science of Cast Bullets" now for a few years and that is now where my interest are so It is to hard to get back to the workbench. Maybe when I'm fully retired I will have more time to do both!

Holy SMOKES (no pun intended!)!!! You aren't a gun builder, you are a true Artisan! Outstanding work! Those look like museum quality pieces!
