Surgery recoup time

I am starting the second phase of my therapy for my rotorcup surgery. Minimal strengthening. My Therapist isn't to happy with what I have been doing at home. But like most of us I can't just watch netflicks 24 hrs. a day
So far I have made an electric powder dispenser from a CB post. Rebuilt a new wet case tumbler (my old DIY drier/ wet tumbler took a dump last fall) Did the pre loading case preparation on all of my spare brass. And started a rewire of my basement electrical.
Like I said my therapist just gives me the evil eye every time I come in.

My MIL is going through that, just got out of the "straight jacket" last week. Has two giant, fat, unruly dogs (reason it got torn in the first place) so we're hoping she doesn't screw it up again before it heals. The whole deal sucks, hope it works out for you.

Kevin,
I don't know how many days you spend doing that list of projects...but this old, fairly healthy, man hasn't finished that many projects in the last month.

Sort you have to go thru it, but understand the can't sit all day!

SWMBO has had both shoulders done. I liked her therapist. He worked on her M,W,F, told me to do the same stuff on T,Th, Sat, and Sun. Payback is great!

dang! both mine were so bad, took one to hold me on the table and one to wrench my shoulder around until my eyes rolled back in my head! Both times! Glad yours is going much better!

To add to my list. This morning the wife said our deep fat fryer was loosing its ability to keep a constant heat an she was wondering if I could use it. I immediately took the inner basket and made a media separator for my wet stainless pins.
An hour later I went up stairs and grabbed the fryer . Went to my basement and in 1.5 hrs. I turned the fryer into a mold/ingot heater with a door to keep heat inP1010004.JPG P1010005.JPG

Intheshop My basement has been a work in progress from when I built the house 13 years ago. An I improperly double wired some of it. Just putting a lot more wire up than needed. So I decided to straiten an condense things. But yes I just got my new reloading room wired.

Dang, did you rock the fireplace and make the dining table too? Looks like the table top is the same planking as the floor underneath it. I also like how you say you built your house 13 years ago....that's just about how long it has taken me to build mine, and still working on the last room.

Ian I didn't have a say on the dinner table. I made a complete dinning set Maaaaaaaaaany years ago, Red oak 1.5"thick table top. The wife said a couple weeks ago she was tired of it so out the door it went 300$ for table 7 chairs and leafs. because she wanted this one "store baught" instead. All I say is yes dear. The rock wall is not a fireplace. Just a heat retension wall. All the rocks are man made. You cant hardly tell the difference. I put the same rock around the conc. blocks to hide the blocks. Flooring is Australian Cyprus from Floors and More. It matches the Banister (I made) and the distressed Hickory cabinets

all my stuff is distressed from children touching it.
I should start a business going around and distressing homes for people.

I bet your therapist ain't none too happy but I would bet your Dr. is just fine with you doing stuff.
I see a bunch of them putting the slings on for shorter and shorter times and getting the joints right back to stretching and moving ASAP.

When I had my Shoulder reconstruction a few years ago, I was, by necessity, changing a front tire on my tractor. A bit slow going, but I got it done. I enjoy full range of motion to this day, thanks to Therapy and IMO my ability to endure a little pain.
