Drone idea is good, has a wireless camera system, good application. Armor plate still a good thing.
Rob Leatham's father was a pro photographer, used to show up at matches with remote
still and video cams set up at various crossrange locations, but downrange of the firing
line. Since IPSC at that point was all pistols, he wrapped them in soft kevlar type bullet proof
vest panels. Smart guy. These were seriously expensive cameras.
This thing would seem especially useful at the really long ranges. Even driving out 800 m or
1200 m takes time and effort. Just being able to watch the hits will help in zeroing and
understanding how you ammo, scope, rifle and the shooter are working, much more
direct feedback.
