Anyone have one of these? I ordered one just to see. Hopefully it will speed up the 223 brass trimming I have to do.

I have a couple of them and they do a nice job!
I would not hesitate to buy another one. Trying to wear these out and it has not happened yet with many hundreds of pieces trimmed!

Can't wait till these get here. I have a few carbide end mills from past jobs. A couple are still wrapped in the green wax like stuff. I want to see if there is a difference.

Never heard of it. Have the wft. The carbide cutter does make a difference on it.

Took awhile to get it set up. It works off the shoulder of the case. So it seems that a lot of my brass is not sized exactly the same. It is cutting the brass to 1.745-1.751 I can live with that.

One thing to try for better consistency...

Use the same motion at the end of the cut. Once the end is reached I twist the case fore & back before withdraw. The cadence being changed changes the result. That motion helps square up the cut to.

Holds .002 on the wft going fast that way & .001 if going slow.

Seems the cases that are getting really trimmed are the ones that come up on the short side. I ended up trimming almost a 5 gal bucket of sized brass. Now I will have to do the inside chamfer. Then load.
