Still in the shop making a few things to shoot. One bullet I'll be working with is the NOE 311-284-RN. The rifle is a 70 Winchester 30-06. This will be a journey I'm sure.

i think you'll have good success right off, for a parallel sided bullet the 284 actually is a pretty fair fit to the 0-6's throat.
it only has a slight amount of mis-match in the ball seat area.

Good looking bullets .

I had to go recover a vehicle today , froze half way sweater the rest . It was nice to have a little scenery make over .

I should have stopped for about 5 minutes of video the cloud was moving fast enough to actually see it falling down the sides but the 85' 6.9 F250 diesel zero electronic truck tuned for 0-2500' didn't like the 6% climb through 7000' with 10,000# of truck and trailer on its back .

Weather is more interesting when you can see it happening than when it's happening to you and you're stuck in it .

We now return you to bullet talk.

Creeker. I just posted another thread about my test results in my Ruger Hawkeye 30-06 with the NOE 312290
Checked and lubed mine weigh right at 225gr. Alloy is 50/50 coww/pure/+2% Foundry type.
I got decent results with IMR4064 to start. Still lots of work to go.
I almost got the 284 myself. Ben talked me into the 290:)
