Happy as a Clam on a Mud flat..the... rounds I had loaded Were a Might "OLD"I had Loaded them in August some time..For the M1..now that Winter has passed and three nor'easters Have Come and Gone I figured today would be a good time To loosen the Old Girl up..AND try my new glasses out..So how did it go? ..Not badly ..Not great...Got the M1 Barking again that was fun.. nice to be out on the range again. Too So.. Here's the ammo....LC cases.

Good times. I'd lose my mind with weather like you have. couple more grains of sparky stuff and/or seat that front band a little closer to the ball seat ought to close that vertical right up.

Ya Ian headed up that way..right now liking the way it stacks the brass..i can see the red dot on top of the front sight ..helps keep my windage pretty good does nothing for elevation..need more contrast for light between top of post and target have to watch seating depth with this bullet kinda a closely can jam it in the rifling if am not careful. Has a .304 nose

sighting issues will throw them like that too.
it's hard to see whether there is a little light, or a round edge, and it's super easy to wander the front sight around a bit.

I usually give up aiming for any mark on the paper after about three shots and just line everything up in the middle of that little white fuzzy rectangle. Works pretty well for me with an aperture rear sight. A hood made from thin cardstock (like a used 9mm ammo box) and tape works too when the sunlight coming down on again, off again through the clouds makes that front sight wander all over the place.
