it's coalville,,, the name was changed to enhance the reputation a little.
I'm sure it's changed some in the last 20 years, and it's populated now.

I spent a lot of time up in Heber, at the Eagles club, up until it closed that is.
made that drive 1-2 times a week every week for a number of years.

Spent a summer , 77 maybe , in Heber . My Grandparents were running a motel on main street , kind of a blurr really I guess I was 11 maybe ......maybe I was only 10 . I saw Grand Theft Auto with Ron Howard in the theater . It was a cross country car chase movie featuring his girlfriend's father's Rolls from Beverly Hills to Vegas that ended with them abandoning the Rolls in a Demo derby at the fairgrounds . See " how can we stretch a 12 page script into a 74 minute screen play and wreck 35+ cars 65% of which need to be CHP ?" .

Ahh the Heber creeper. If you have a toyota landcruser with the proper offset rims, you can air down the tires, drive onto the tracks, (when the train ain't running) set a high idle and drink beer as you tour the canyon.
So they say.

I got a relative sitting on a horse at the " this is the place" monument.
