250gr Speer 35cal. soft points at Midway

During The Plague, when the ammo shelves were bare, I managed to find 2 boxes of Sellior and Belloit (sp?) 30-06 x150gr ammo for my oldest boy. Shot great groups and worked dandy with it's simple c+c bullet on his deer. It IS just a deer after all, not a T-Rex or Mastodon!!!

I occasionally show off a group where the mall ninjas lurk stating it was from an expanding monolithic solid . When they heckle me for wasting such costly super bullets in 120-150 yr old cartridges I remind them the 308&223/556 are almost 70 . Besides that slow and heavy is all the rage .
