Walter...It'll be very interesting to see how those shoot....I don't engrave them that much....

mine are seated as follows, Remington 03 USMC barrel (shot out) 3.150, MK1 03, NOS 2 groove, 3.260, Rock Island 03, NOS 4 groove,3.260, Rem 03A3 A4 2 groove, 3.260, 03 Sporter w Star gauged, 4 groove barrel, 3.185,Smith Corona w/ near new 4 groove barrel ,3.70

Amazing how different the barrels are...I got mine seated so there is a very small jump... Dan

Waco, listen to Dan and Fiver, there's a larger picture to what they're saying.

There are three tricks to getting a cast bullet to shoot straight. First is a good rifle, not as good as you might think necessary. Second is proper physical fit of the cartridge and bullet for exactly what you're trying to do and at what speed. Third is matching the load and the alloy to the rifle. That's it, though you can spend a lifetime trying to catch just a glimpse of how to accomplish the second or the meaning of the third.
