Ben ...I think groups like you posted above and this one are a great testimony to the quality of Ben's Red and BLL.
When groups like mine can be achieved with stock military rifles (excepts sights), just think what an F -class could do.
It's a great legacy for you Ben.
P.S. These groups are almost becoming hoo-hum.

I have the clea;n; bbl first shot syndrome also! Goes with the game!

It doesn't have to. Most of the time it's lube-related and fixable by a lube adjustment or a bore pre-treatment.

You are most likely right Ian. How ever, I am convinced that my rifles are haunted for the first shot---haunted I say! Think that is why the CBA allows 2 sighter rounds before shooting for record. Bore pre treatment! Have tried it a couple of times in my haunted rifles, did help (a little bit.)
