Dang, that has to hurt. I have looked at Tom's web sight quite a bit and never seen the +/- option. I probably would have made the same mistake.

Yes, budgets kind of tight, so I really should want a month before ordering a new one. Just never ordered a mold that had this many options and just wasn't paying attention.
Always figured a +/- on molds, but ordering a 0.311 and plus 0.002 screwed the pooch.
The lost month hurts too. I really wanted to start playing with this one.
Oh well. I once waited two year for a MiHec mold.
Just didn't have so many people waiting on me to get one to test.

Two years? That's all? o_O

It will all work out in the end.

Replied to PM AFTER reading updates to this thread, missed the part about .311". I did that too on my first one after being burned a dozen times on undersized Lyman moulds of then recent manufacture, so I by golly drew it fat and then ordered it fatter. It came out .003" fatter than I needed, just like I ordered though. Fortunately it fits a couple of my rifles that have worn throats.

Just a quick update.
I've swapped some e-mails with Tom.
He has told me what to put in the comments section to get the diameter of the boolit to match the specs in the boolit diagram with my alloy and casting technic.
I'll order a new mold Monday or Tuesday.

Some of us have waited as long as three years for a custom mould. Tom will fix you up in short order.

Exactly. I put in for a group buy on 6/20/12 and got the mould 2/28/16. Yes, 4 months short of 4 years!

Tom is way faster than that.

I'm sure he's busy. Whenever I get it is fine.
The pigs will welcome the temporary reprieve.

Communication is the key.
E-mail him before you order and discuss what you need.
He will walk you thru it and get you set up right the first time.
I should have done this and didn't. Learned my lesson.
