i wish i knew what that blue stuff in the acra glass kit was/is, that stuff makes a nice barrier that dries and flakes off easy enough.

I have to re-re-do a small section on the front receiver ring. It got some epoxy in the threads for the barrel I did not see when cleaning it up so this did not happen. The rest looks very good. It would work fine the way it is but I just know that it will bother me later down the road.

I remember a Remington 700 with relief holes to trigger adjustments cause it was purposefully glued into its stock. Dont know shy that image was emblazoned but I didnt like it!

Well the new barrel has a extremely tight and short throat. With a 65gr mp at 0.225" I had to seat it to 2.09" to chamber.

I think i might make a 0.224" sizer tonight to see if it changes anything.

I'm trying to gets things together for the range. I went out a few days back and had to come ho.e early as the mirage coming off the barrel was so bad I couldn't see the target. And the barrel was not anywhere near hot. So I have a 3" mirage shield I made a long time ago for another gun that will be coming with.

Already found a load. 60gr vmax that went 5 shots into a 0.33" at the widest. I have 3 different 69+68gr bullets to try. But I think I am going to order more of the vmax for the next shortage while they are available
