Unlike some of these guys... I only powder coat a little. ;) :p

Last fall I removed the last of my three Lyman 450's from the bench.
Powder Coating covers my style and "speed" just fine.
My Mother in law is heading to her 100th Birthday next June. 87 is the new 60!!
If you would like to try, PM me, W/some calibers you shoot. Include a ship to address, and Ill send ya some Power Coated bullets to try!

From to looks of all those red capped plastic jars, I’d say you eat a lot of peanut butter.:)

All my stuff is willed to my son, and I've already given him two rifles. Presently, work and family take up his free time, but he does have the desire to learn to cast and reload.

I have a son, son-in-law, 5 grandsons and a granddaughter who shoots. So I know my stuff will be appreciated and put to good use. The oldest grandson is interested in reloading, not so much in casting right now, but there is hope. ( He is getting married in a few months, so he has other things on his mind right now.)

I will be 84 tomorrow and I am not getting rid of anything just yet. In fact I have just made a new purchase: a Steyr-Mannlicher Zephyr II .22lr bolt action rifle with a Vortex 1-8X24 scope. Pictures to come later.

Happy Birthday Rocky' and congrats Mr. rodmkr!

I've been "tumble-lubing since before tumble-lubing was cool." Prior to dabbling with those free bottles of goop LEE foisted upon anyone buying a push-through die, I used it "raw" and have made many modifications since then and use 45/45/10 or BLL almost exclusively now, but I've used a Lyman 45 for over fifty years - my dad's until 35 years ago, when I found a used one for $30 with a handful of dies.

I don't use it unless I have to, and sometimes I have to, but it's not going anywhere just yet. So, yeah, there's still a market. I think it would be passed over if I had an "hour to pack," but it's still useful as long as I have a bench to clamp it to - at least sometimes.

As wildly popular as PC is, I think those pioneers are still the minority - at least for now. With everything as scarce as it is right now, I think some folks who aren't even sure if they'd use it would snatch it up for fear of never seeing them again and missing the chance. I we had a gun show coming up, because I have stuff to sell too, but the lubrisizer isn't on that list. It comes in handy now and then these days and I do still like the greezy feel of my 44s after I've put a few 429421s downrange with those voluminous grease grooves. I do believe that the lube that coats the OUTSIDE of my revolvers provides some rust protection, whether it does any good INSIDE or not.
