Smokywolf is here in Mtn. Home, AR visiting for the next couple of days. He stopped by Winelover's (John) this afternoon in a motorhome with his wife, son, mother in law and dog. He'll be staying at one of the lakeside RV parks for a couple of days while checking out real estate, sight seeing and visiting.

Not exactly getting ready to move. One of his boys is touring in a band and one of their stops was in Little Rock last night. He is in a motor home and watching them perform.

His trip by here nearly coincided with our baby's due date so we had to settle for a phone chat. I understand that the Hill Country was hospitable to him in my absence, happy to hear that and that they've uneventfully maintained the planned schedule.

RJ did say he liked the TX hill country, I didn't get the chance to ask what it is about an oven that he liked. :confused:

We're having weather like Brad this year, very high heat indices but only bumped over 100 true ambient a couple of times. Smokey never complained to me about it, kinda surprised me because S.A. is a brick oven this time of year.

Baby will be here by the end of next week either on her own or by what all signs show will soon become medically imperative surgery.

Over the years have met a BUNCH of guys,and a few gals from what wifey calls......my "stories"(web forum's).

It has been a treat.Some great folks all very passionate about whatever the forum was based on.If I had to put a number on the meetings it would be over 200 easily.Wood guys,motorcycle junkies,stick bow nuts.

Always fun,always learn something new....putting faces to names.

Nice visit with Smokey's family. Gave them the grand tour of the "estate".....I received a nice bottle of California Cabernet Sauvignon.:cool:

When he mentioned how bad he hates CA I told him when I left and got across the state line I stuck my left arm out the window and waved goodbye. With one finger of course and even my blood pressure dropped.

Think tourists making 12 point U turns on blind curves in the mnts here.....considering there's pulloffs every cpl of miles on the BRP?Yes,we "may" be traveling a touch fast but....it'll get a salute every time.Just sayin.

Had a great pizza party tonight with smokeywolf clan and John & Cindy, Bella and the wolf (that's really a pussycat). Had a great time and RJ says he hopes to escape California by this time next year. We'll see about that. :confused: They leaving in the morning to visit another son up north.
