As a relatively newcomer to the cast reloading club, 1983, all I can say is price is what you pay and value is what you get.

I would not blame Tom from raising his prices as the product he delivers is cheap considering the effort needed to create ammunition with highly accurate potential. I used to be a hold-out insofar as to buy cheap and then modify molds to get where I was going. It is way cheaper and less stressful to just buy the proper tools.

Other relatively newcomers to the mold making scene are good as well but the availability of a custom cut mold every time you order is almost unheard of. My fear is that Tom won't be around long enough to satisfy all of my desires insofar at to custom molds until I fall off of the end of my mortal coil.

One day while shopping at a local Safeway, my wife met an old high school friend who was the produce department manager. Eventually their conversation got round to my wife working for Ma Bell, and that the job was unionized though she was (and remains) anti-union. The friend said Safeway monitored labor contracts and raised its priced when unionized employees' wages were increased. Instant loss of buying power for every family, but more so for the non-unionized families.

We have a 3M factory here that pays above union wages to keeps the unions and the BS that comes with them. Then 120 miles north of here is another 3M that is union. They make 1/3 the pay the one here makes. We also have a ADM corn processor here that pays about $5/hr more than the union ADM 90 miles west of here.

Unions were good at first, well sort of. They were ALL mob ran. They did some good things gs. Now they are dem ran and only look out for the upper members. They are as corrupted as all democrats
