SR4759 and Lyman 311284

I have a number if VH powders and like them allot! I actually just irdered tge 2022 manual.
I like 5744 and have since I first bought those XMR5744 cans. The recipe on the bottle for 28g under a 405g lead bullet in the 45/70 has been a absolute joy for years!
I like 4198 more and more as well! I have been using it in my 300 BO lead bullets and its gassy enough to provide good function. Plus its long time use in the 45/70 for heavies and 22 Hornet 45g pills.
Im into my last pound of 4759 and Ill miss it when its gone.

I'm the only guy who never found accuracy loads SR 4759 and 5744. Some roses got the last little bit of the former and I'll likely waste more primers getting rid of the latter.

5744 was a different story, I used the original surplus IMI powder from Accurate in the 7mm TCU, best accuracy and cleanest burning powder I tried. When the surplus ran out and Accurate had new powder mfg. it was just never the same, couldn't even come close to the surplus powder. Lost interest in 5744 and never used it again. I've read numerous glowing reports about this powder since but . . .
