Stevens Tip Up rifle in 32 cal

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Hows the rifling? No sense getting the wallet out if the rifling is shot. I've got 2 32-20's and a couple 22's in that condition. Barrel lining, done right, isn't easy or cheap. If the rifling is strong, you may want to research things and see if the 32 S+W LONG would be viable. I say this simply because the Long case is so, so, SO much easier to handle than the shorter 32 S+W. Just getting them into the shell holder can be a pain if you don't have little girly fingers. Brass is also far more common. Of course you don't have to load the Long to full potential, which in a rifle is up near factory 32-20 ballistics. Those older pistol rounds can become something altogether different in a rifle barrel with slower powders.

I have to rent a 32 S+W Long reamer for 2 rifles. The #4 Remington will get the full length 32 S+W Long. The #6 Rem falling block will get opened only enough for the shorter 32 S+W, just so if anyone ever does play with it besides me, there won't be any hotter loads run through it.
