For those who have never fired one, they handle well once you get them out of the holster. It is about like drawing a 7.5 inch SAA. The bag grip is comfortable and balance is good. Plus they are reliable with very light loads, something uncommon with self-loaders.

I know a guy that allegedly has a few Broomhandles buried in his back yard, along with a lot of other stuff. I wonder how many other people there with interesting but iffy to possess without the right paperwork (in my state anyway) hidden in various places?

Though I never saw it, my now deceased reloading mentor, gun buying enabler, and best friend had one a
full-auto Broomhandle. During their divorce process, his wife threatened to tell the sheriff. He told me he gave it to a guy who lived in a very rural part of the county.

Despite having done so at the above pictured Mauser, I'll bet Churchill wouldn't have laughed at it and would have preferred one, at Omdurman.

My completely-unmatching rebuilt C-96 doesn't have the neat gearshift that enables 'overdrive', and it has a fixed 10-round magazine. Some variants of the generic C-96 feature said gearshift and detachable magazines of higher capacity. The 'inaccuracy' I spoke of occurs during sustained fire, as the barrel warms up it starts 'walking' bullets after about 15-16 shots. Fired slowly, it will group about 3"-3.5" at 25 yards.

I never found Loretta Switt attractive even when she was young.

That is, in fact, Kelly McGillis in that picture. She is apparently quite a bit older than Tom Cruise and like most of us, hasn't aged as well. At least she didn't do ridiculous levels of plastic surgery to try to hold it off, so I respect her somewhat for that.

Bro sat next to Blocker on a plane, said he was a great guy and appreciated Bro leaving him alone.

When I was a teen it was Olivia Newton-John, Linda Ronstadt, Lynda Carter and Farrah.

Two rather nasty personalities.
Really? I know nothing about them beyond what they look like, which is why they were well known. It certainly wasn't their acting ability. I did see part of an interview with Linda R recently. "Burnt out druggie" was the thought that sprung to mind. This was from back when she, Emmy Lou (another one that's aged REALLY well!) and Dolly Parton were singing together. Emmy Lou and Dolly were lucid and pretty normal. Poor Linda looked and talked like she was on;y half aware of where she was or even who she was. Maybe that's just her actual personality, but burnt out looked like the real problem.

Linda Ronstadt is suffering from Parkinson's disease and no longer performs. Maybe that's what made her look like a burnt out druggie to you.

The interview, as I said, was from back when they were singing together in the 90's.

I was going to post about Linda Ronstadt's live-in relationship with Governor Moonbeam, but didn't due to potential political taboos. During his first stint, he shunned living in the Governor's Mansion for an apartment and slept on the floor. Yep, she was weird. It is sad, though, that she lost her voice, due to Parkinson's.
