I’ve got to add the RCBS 180 to your list of usual suspects and agree about the Seaco 315.I've had little success with the oft recommended Ideal/Lyman designs (-041, -291,-284) in the .30-30 Marlin #336 that I once owned. However, Saeco #315 and its clones, sized to fit your #1 was the accuracy champ. Even without the gas check, it is an accurate shooter as long as you control its velocity.
