IIRC I had WW plus a bit of tin in the pot last time I cast...????:oops:
I added a good dose of Lino to the mix. If I had to guess 5/1 maybe. Air cooled. I'll give them a week or so.
This will give me time to prep some brass and choose a powder.

My new Savage12FV might like these as well. Dunno. It has a 1:9 twist and is chambered in .223

one thing I do for the little guy's is press on the gas checks, then run them through the size/lube die.
this gives me a good second chance to look them over and toss back anything I don't like.

They bases looked good Rick. I had to throw a few back. Used a gloved hand with decent pressure to cut the sprue fairly quickly after pouring. This seemed to do the trick. Looking forward to load development.

Glen. You mentioned 4227 in the .221 with cast. What other powders work well for you in this caliber?
