.30-06 and the NOE 312299

I have not shot a lot of cast out of my Ruger M77 ‘06 yet. That is gonna change. I recently bought a new Bergara in the same caliber for my hunting rifle.
I had a bunch of PB 312299 laying around so I weighed out 20 of them, sized to .310” and lubed with 2500+ and an overcoat of BLL.
These will be loaded with 21-23gr SR4759.
I found 20 pieces of RP brass that was decaped and had been annealed.
I FL sized it and did all the case prep on them.
Time to play with some mild cast loads again and take a small break from presision long range stuff.

I haven't pulled a trigger since Independence day, but sure do enjoy short-range sniping with suppressed popgun loads. PFFT....*tink*......(snicker)....repeat. it never gets old. Enjoy your plinkers and low-stress shooting, Walter.

I "had" a Ruger '06, tang safety too. One of the very few JB guns round heea.Hornady 150 RN @2700 (30-30 bullet)handload..... but alas,youngest son claimed it before last year deer season,haha. He jacked a nice meat doe with it directly,haven't seen the gun since?

So blast a few Ruger CB's for me Waco.

9.3 grains of old/ new Universal or equ of unique and you'll be in heaven it'll shoot about 8" low @,100 yds but you can get sub 1/2" groups

Dan. I just might try your load. I have about 13 pounds of Universal and I don’t use it in a lot of applications.
I remember you posting some killer groups with it.
I forgot these are PB
My original thought of using 21-23gr of SR4759 would be a bit fast without a GC.

Great bullet either PB or GC'd. Great in o6,
308, and 303, and & 7.62x54 if your mold drops
them at .313-314.

Kevin,lost another "good cause" gun over the weekend.An early 870 slug barrel rig,with aftermarket sights no less.The oldest son sweet talked me out of it.
