I shoot this cartridge in a .40 cal. Glock 35 that has a replacement .357 Sig barrel. Shoots very well. Have only shot jacketed bullets in it to date. Very picky cartridge. Will only feed bullets designed for this cartridge. I should get a mold and start casting for it. Any recommendations?

The Lee 120 gr. ( usually used in the 9mm Luger ) works just fine in my Glock 31 , 357 Sig. Cartridges fit fine in the Glock Mag. The rounds feed flawlessly. As you can see in the target , they are super accurate with the load we are using.

The Lee 120 TC bullet is a very universal 9mm bullet, It seems to work very well in a lot of applications.

And nice shooting Trevor !

My favorite is the Ranch Dog 135 gr 9mm bullet with conventional lube grooves, plain based and powder coated. My mould came from NOE, but they don't seem to ever have any available but I see the TL version offered by Arsenal. I grew to favor heavier 9mm cast bullet designs for .357, but never had much success with Lyman 147 gr design. I size my bullets to the largest diameter that will chamber easily in my barrel. My SIG seems to be omnivorous as far as feeding goes as long as I get my seating depth right.

I have zero experience with " slick sided bullets ".
Maybe someone else can offer their thoughts /

I have a slick sided MP mold for making heavier bullets for my 9mm competition revolver. It makes a slick sided 160 gr. RN bullet. This was my first 8 cavity MP mould and it is an amazing mould to use. The 8 cavity really produces and the slick sided bullets jump out of the mould when you open it. I really like the slick sided bullets for coating, I have both rifle and pistol moulds. I do both PC and HiTek and they cast, coat and shoot great. I would have no hesitation getting that MP mould.

i have the RN version without the step, which basically mimics a jacketed rn bullet.
it shoots just like a plated or jacketed bullet when powder coated.
[it actually looks just like the coated one Federal sold or sells still if i coat it red]
