I spotted this mould a few days ago, I purchased the mould and it arrived today. It has been cast with a little by the previous owner , but it certainly isn't hurt.

The bullets drop freely and mike a nice round .3585". Just about what you'd expect from Tom @ Accurate moulds. The " as cast " diameters are just about ideal for my purposes. The weights are very consistent , cavity to cavity.

As to my use of bullets from this mould, I have many 38/357 Revolvers, a pair of Lever action 38/357 rifles and my latest acquisition , a Ruger # 1 in 357 Max. Obviously, if these plain base 128 gr. cast bullets are to be used in the Ruger #1, it would have to be done at 1,000 - 1,100 fps.

A nice mould that can pile up bullets in a hurry !

Doesn't take very long to make a pretty good pile of these.

if you have a little bit of throat in a 9mm pistol those would work in that too.
I think I can see a little bore ride section right in front of the drive band, which is something I put in the HM-2 mold to help center the bullet when it was chambered.

I would definitely give it at least a cursory make some dummy's and see how they feed try in the 9mm [sized the same as you size for your 35's]

how'd you make it through the 80's-90's without buying a 9mm?
they were on the cover of a gun magazine every month for at least 18 years.

I owned a couple ( past tense ).
I have a nice 1911 stainless 45 ACP.
However, basically I'm still a revolver man.

Ben, you need a CZ75B. Talk about a nice 9mm.

That should be a good shooter.

Thanks Brad,

I'm thinking it might be a good " lead saver " plinker bullet in my lever guns.

I have often thought a good little 125gr mold would fit the bill and save a little lead in those "way too fun to shoot!" levers.....

definitely.
they are like shooting a 22 in a little model 92 carbine, or can be down loaded in a 38 special to the point elderly women can handle them pretty easily, or run up to some impressive velocity's if your so inclined.
and good lord is there a lot of them in a 3 gallon bucket.

I own several of Tom's fine molds including a new 52-450L I just received for my 50-70. I cannot say enough good things about Accurate molds.

Nice mould, Ben. The original "orderer" may have spec'd that mould out for a weaker alloy, like straight WW, which is why it's casting a half thou large for you. Sounds like it's perfect, actually. I went to the Lee 125 RF for all my .38 revolvers because it actually hits to POA at 15-25 yards instead of shooting 3-4" high like all of them do with 158s. The Lee bullet doesn't have that bore-rider step, which is fine with me, but boy do they shoot. Enjoy!

I survived the 80s with full wadcutters in a K-38 and have never owned a 9mm either. I didn't own a 5.56 until last year and it was only about four years ago that I acquired my first .308. Still don't have a 50 bmg, but did at one time. I'm a little slow to adopt the NATO stuff.

Sam Colt, Oliver Winchester, John Browning, and Elmer Keith pretty much invented all the cartridges that needed inventing long before I was born.

I loaded 20 rounds for testing purposes.
357 Mag., Starline cases, 4.2 grs. of B'Eye with the 128 gr. Accurate cast bullet sized to .3575", Rem. small pistol primers.

Feeds through my 92' like water running through screen wire.
Not a heavy load, but might be just what I'm looking for ? ?

Only enough crimp to remove the bell in the case mouth, no more.

that's all you need if your just trying to make a hole in some paper.
that would make a fine small game load too.
