4 Hole Lee and the KHornet w/cast

Loaded the first KHornet yesterday on the 4 holer Lee. Works like a champ!

First die, Redding neck size die.
Second die Lyman M die.
Third die powder drop with the new little Lee adjustable gizmo that replaces the disks, with 4 gr. of Unique and 225438.
Last then the seating die.

Takes a bit to get the powder drop die set just right, and failure do do so will ruin a thin little case like the hornet. I weighed all finished loads with cast that are charged with less than half a case full (up to the neck), and these 40 came out just fine. I do every so often check charge weight, particularly with flake powder. Probably every 10-12. These all came out just fine.

The little adjustable gizmo will work fine for most cast loads with fast powders I believe.

Sounds like a lot of fun using a turret press, not to mention the increased productivity.
I'm still in the dark ages with my single stage style.

Looks like a nice press to me. Certainly less fumbling with cases using the turret.

The adjuster on the measure is much better than the disc nonsense. If lee could figure out priming it would be even better.

Never owned a turret press myself, single & Auto progressive only so far. Did almost buy a t7 a few years back.

Well, if I get a chance to buy another one at a reasonable price, would
probably retire the older Lyman turret.
