5 Guns only?

Side-by-side, eh Ric? One rifled .50 and one .72 smoothbore with a jug choke, dual side rock locks. I think we just came up with the ultimate doomer/prepper gun...except for maybe the Sam Yang along the lines of 35 Shooter's list.

Yeah, the Sam Yang would have the advantage of shooting arrows as an option too, but it would require a separate charging unit to have to upkeep.

If you had plenty of black powder on hand, or better yet could make it yourself, a flinter would be hard to beat as a dooms day gun.

If I knew I could hand make replacement parts for a hand pump, it would be a hard choice between going air power for the yang or black powder for a flinter.

You guys have my head hurting now.

Funny thing....nobody mentioned front stuffers. I think we all assumed this wasn't a SHTF scenario, only living in a highly-regulated but economically functioning area.

Never thought it would be much trouble to take small arms ammo to the "next level"?As in caseless and primerless.A nice R700 action(any lug engaged turn bolt) as the test monkey. And without getting political,the above is a cornerstone to how and why we still use a component based system.... it's a legal and economic default. People in "position" really,and I mean REALLY underestimate the power in the "American spirit". Oh well,carry on.
