Two blonds come into a bar celebrating and yelling 85 days, only 85 days.

A puzzled patron asks what happened in 85 days?

The blonds laughing it up and ordering drinks say the puzzle, we finished it in only 85 days and box said 3 to 5 years.

As long as it tastes like tarmac and molasses, doesn't burn the mouth at full cask strength, and has a licorice finish I'm not picky. Ok, so that narrows it down to like two Islay spirits at +$100/fifth that have rested in a charred xeres cask for at least 14 years, but a bottle lasts me a very, very long time.

Now a level five Soduku puzzle, that might take me more than 3-5 years to get right!

Ian, I am trying to wean myself off Scotch Whisky and have started on bourbons, because of the $100 per 750 ml price. I am working on Bowman Brothers Small Batch Virginia and John J. Bowman. My family sold the business about 5 years ago, but the stuff you are buying now was still made by them. The lip burning is a physical thing. At 50% ethanol it take the water out of the mucus membranes. At 49.5% you only get the "pricklies" from the contact. Also depends upon your saliva makeup.

I have never finished a level one Soduko puzzle, and don't want to think that hard at my age. May cause a meltdown!

I'm a Glenmorangie fan myself.
I like the 18 year over the Signet, but the Signet isn't bad.
I've got a sister-in-law that tries to mix it with Coca-Cola. Had to slap her hand more than once.
Now I keep Johnny Walker Red Label for her to use.

You're more kind than I would be, I keep a 1.75L plastic bottle of Canadian Hunter on hand for people who like to mix their booze and soft drinks together.
